Last minute {easy} Easter DIY

Yes, we know Easter is this weekend. And yes, time is running out. But if you need to get that last minute little gift or card to a teacher/friend/loved one... then we may be able to help! Here are a couple ideas that you can whip up in about 20 minutes!

First up: a note to your favorite peeps! I took some of my colorful straws from my stash (yes, I have a straw stash... they are just too cute!) and stuck them into bunny peeps to make a "peep on a stick". I then wrapped them in clear plastic and tied with a fun ribbon. Supplies we used: bunny peeps, any colorful/patterned straws (thanks Thatch & Thistle), colorful ribbon (thank you target dollar spot!), plastic wrap, and the card is from paper-source.

Not a fan of peeps? Well, let's go a little "petter rabbit" then... I bought a bunch of carrot seed packets, and created a little card with our carrot stamp. The stamp was embossed with gold powder, and the "Happy Easter" was written with an orange gel pen. The final touch on this gift will be grabbing carrot cupcakes (from my fave Sugar Ray's Bakeshop) and wrapping it all together. These are going to make great teachers gifts for my kids preschool. Supplies we used: carrot seed packets, sage green place cards (paper-source), orange gel pen, carrot stamp, gold embossing powder, and twine.
