It's always fun to hear the stories behind the brides + grooms I work with, but it becomes even more special when they're family. We recently attended a wedding for my cousin and his bride in Colorado. Let me paint the scenery: a large 100+ acre ranch in Bond (just outside of Vail) surrounded by beautiful mountains and the Colorado River running through the property. And if that wasn't enough, the weather was perfect, the details lovely, and the sweet couple are beautiful (inside and out).
Meet Travis + Kira.
And now to the details. I love how the invitations turned out. They are graphic, simple, and rustic all at the same time. The girls wore coral, the boys in blue jean shirts + bow ties, and Kira sported some very cute lacey blue TOMS. They said their vows under a tree with the sound of the river nearby and the birds chirping. From the tree hung this giant (4ft x 8ft) chalkboard that I wrote a verse from 1 Corinthians. The party continued under the coolest white outdoor tent I've ever seen, and the kids were able to run around through the field. It was just beautiful!
Thanks Travis + Kira for letting us be a part of your special day! We wish you lots of love and happiness for years to come.
